Paving Features – Marshalls Driveline 50 Octant & Circles
The Marshalls Driveline 50 range provides beautiful landscape features. Scottbeck Paving and Landscapes Ltd are very Creative when using Driveline 50 Octant or circle packs.
Fully integrative with Driveline 50 block paving Octants and circles can be created up to a diameter of 2.6m.
Driveline 50 installation & specifications
Driveline 50 paving blocks are 200mm x 100mm x 50mm in size and are usually laid in a Herringbone pattern. This type of paving patterns increases strength and locks the bricks together.
Scottbeck excavates the landscape area to a depth of 250mm where we lay a protective geotextile membrane. We then lay 150mm of Type 1. stone hardcore and compact it with a whacker plate. Once we have a very solid base for paving we add 50mm of sharp sand and again compact it.
Next, we are ready to lay the block paving. Once the paving is laid we cover the blocks in kiln dried sand, this is then brushed into the joints of the blocks. The paved area is once again compacted allowing the blocks to settle into their perfectly even, finished position.
